Roach holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with minors in Mathematics and Physics. Shortly after graduating, Sandra’s genuine passion for coaching and mentoring transitioned her into education. Her technical and analytical background has been instrumental in the success of her position as the Director and Founder of the Tutoring Tree. The Tutoring Tree provides supplemental services to students in various subjects specializing in math topics ranging from basic math to calculus. She presents complex topics in a simple and fun way; including the development and implementation of STEM based activities.

Roach has authored the books, Alina's Options: CAREERS from A to Z and STEM NAVIGATORS: Pathways to Achievement in Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics. She has served on executive boards of organizations that promote leadership and effective communication such as the Urban League of Greater Cleveland and Eastside Toastmasters.
